            Nowadays, my skincare routine can also be geared towards anti-aging.

            And because I geek out on natural beauty and skincare more than anything else in this whole wide world, it seemed appropriate to eventually put a post together about my skincare and beauty routine.

            My routine is quite simple and that I expect will be inspire one to go natural or try something new!

            Do natural beauty and skincare products really work?

            Oh absolutely!

            Yes it had been tough to find a mascara that lasted more than an hour without even flaking beneath your eyes.

            But as demand for safer products along with the organic beauty market has grown, we all know have a great deal of safe, natural, high-performing options to choose from.

            You don’t have to sacrifice beauty in the name of health or vice versa!

            And lots of natural, non-toxic skincare ingredients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, CoQ10, charcoal, and niacinamide are so effective that they have even snuck into mainstream attractiveness lines. And skincare practices such as exfoliation help prevent defects and increase collagen production — if you are utilizing a natural exfoliant or nasty-filled exfoliant!             My Super-Simple All-Natural Skincare And Beauty RoutineNatural Skincare

            CLEANSER

            I wash my face once a day. Yes, just once every day! Over-washing your face can throw microbiome and the pH of the skin, both of which are crucial for keeping skin clean and healthy away from.

            I alternate between Beautycounter’s Charcoal Cleansing bar, which is very good for purifying pores, and InstaNatural’s Glycolic Acid Facial Cleanser in order to not over-exfoliate my epidermis. That being said, glycolic acid is a wonderful exfoliant that helps to keep blemishes and signs of aging off. Win win!

            EXFOLIATION

            Exfoliation is an absolute MUST. Therefore, if you’re not doing it you need to begin ASAP. Because it helps to keep pores clean and stimulates collagen production. Plus, it helps makeup go on more easily and enhances skin texture.

            Nevertheless, when it comes to exfoliation, it’s so important not to overdo it! Those with oily skin should exfoliate 1-2 times a week every week while those with skin must exfoliate no longer than once. And since I do use an exfoliating face wash I exfoliate once weekly.

            Currently enjoying: Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask and my own Body Unburdened Pink Perfect & Protect Customizable Mud Mask blended with yogurt (which contains exfoliating lactic acid)!

            I’ve recently become obsessed with Mountain Rose Herb’s hydrosols! They smell amazing and supply the advantages of these pure extracts to skin. I’ve honestly tried nearly all of them (embarrassing to acknowledge!) … but love the Lavender and Neroli most.

            MOISTURIZER

            It’s all about the oils, baby. Whenever anyone compliments my skin (it blows my head when that happens!) And start gushing with an excitement that is intense about it how a young kid gushes about a day at the beach/their favorite exciting — you know, really fast and .

            I have tried dozens of face oils I’m fascinated by the different fatty acid compositions. Their vitamin and nutrient contents, scents, and textures. And Itaken of obsessing research, this years and bottled up my combinations for you too — Body Unburdened Beauty Blends!

            At night after cleansing, exfoliating, and toning, I really liberally employ Beauty Blend No.1. While I used to apply oils both day and night, I now often use a natural CC cream during the day (see below) for some SPF policy and sheer color.

            Oh goodness, do I love a face mask that is fantastic. Two times a week, I use a mask roughly — an exfoliating mask like mentioned above once each week and either a clay-based or hydrating mask depending on the needs of my skin.

            If my skin is dry/irritated, I will only slather on some organic honey — honey is a natural humectant that draws and retains water into the skin.

            However, I mix one of my Body Unburdened Customizable Mud Masks and the honey for the plus of pore-perfecting clays, hydrating marshmallow and aloe, and fruit and herbal extracts! (Yes, I had a great deal of fun inventing and analyzing these!)

            The cult DIY All-Natural Blackhead Busting Blackout Mask is also occasionally on rotation

            When I see something starting to rear its ugly head, I stand strong and bravely scream »GO AWAY, MONSTER! » Just kidding; that is exactly what I tell my niece to do if we encounter »monsters » while enjoying. I dab a tiny lavender essential oil on the blemish as a spot treatment before employing my face oil. EOs will need to be diluted but lavender can be applied to the skin.


            Natural Beauty

            DAILY SPF + COLOR

            I’m obsessed with both Juice Beauty’s Stem Cellular CC Cream and Beautycounter’s Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer. Juice Beauty’s formulation is a little thicker, so that I use it when I need some protection. They are both fantastic, have a 1 Skin deep evaluation, and SPF coverage that is good.

            On days once I need a little extra coverage or to prevent shine, I apply 100% Pure’s Fruit Pigmented Powder Foundation.

            In addition, I utilize 100% Pure’s Extended Last Concealer under my eyes using Super Fruits. I have pretty dark circles when I smile, AND eyes which scrunch up way. Thus a lot accentuate my saying lines around my eyes — not a look that is good and of concealers look cakey. This is!

            MASCARA

            100% Pure’s Black Tea Mascara. Hands down. The best. Enough said.

            I am obsessed with creamy eye shadows that provide just a little bit of colour and shine without making me seem like a 13 year-old from 1998 (in other words, really glittery) — that they somehow make my entire face seem brighter and most glowy. Small miracle workers!

            My favorites: RMS Beauty Eye Polish (in just about every color!) And 100% Pure’s Satin Eye Shadow at Star, I apply just to the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up.

            BLUSH

            The Satin Powder Blush of beautycounter is my favorite. I favor a powder blush over cream since it is simpler to use if applying over face oils or a CC lotion, and I’m clearly all about simplicity when it comes to beauty!

            LIP COLOR

            Ahh I love a coloured lip! When I am a mess, it makes me feel lady-like and pulled.

            To get a night out or even more appearance, Jane Iredale’s Forever Pink Lip Stain is where it as the name suggests it.

            I’m also a big fan of Beautycounter’s Sheer Lipstick — I have (and love) both Rose and Poppy colors.

            My morning beauty routine just takes approximately 2-3 minutes using the above goods and THAT is a gorgeous thing. Honestly, I spend more time staring in the refrigerator deciding what to eat for breakfast.

            And like I said, it is ironic that embracing an extremely simple, natural skincare routine was able to completely change my complexion — I used to think that I really needed all those harsh chemicals from the products I was using, and the more the merrier. Now I know better (heck, I even only wash my head once per day!) And my tears are spent on much more significant things, like the film Up (seriously, I’d no idea it would be this a tear-jerker!!) .
