            Oh totally!

            Yes it was tough to find a mascara that lasted over an hour without even flaking beneath your eyes.

            But as demand for safer products along with the organic beauty market has grown, we all know have a ton of natural, safe, high-performing alternatives to choose from.

            You do not need to sacrifice beauty in the name of health or vice versa!

            And many natural, non-toxic skin care ingredients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, CoQ10, charcoal, and niacinamide are so powerful that they’ve even reverted into mainstream attractiveness lines. And skin care techniques such as exfoliation help prevent blemishes and boost collagen production — whether you are utilizing a natural exfoliant or nasty-filled exfoliant! Why don’t you choose the version, I say!

            My Super-Simple All-Natural Skincare And Beauty RoutineNatural Skincare


            I wash my head once a day, each evening. Yes, just once a day! Your face can throw away from microbiome and the pH of the skin, both of which are key for keeping skin healthy and clear.

            I choice between Beautycounter’s Charcoal Cleansing pub , which is great for purifying pores, also InstaNatural’s Glycolic Acid Facial Cleanser in order not to over-exfoliate my skin.             Exfoliation is a absolute MUST. So if you’re not doing it yet, you have to start ASAP, my friend. Because it can help to keep pores clear and stimulates collagen production. Additionally, it improves skin texture and helps makeup go on more easily.

            Nevertheless, when it comes to exfoliation, it is so important not to overdo it! Those with oily skin must exfoliate 1-2 times a week a week while people with skin should exfoliate no longer than once. And because I really do use an exfoliating face wash every other dayI exfoliate once a week.

            I’ve recently become obsessed with the hydrosols of Mountain Rose Herb! They smell amazing and supply skin with the advantages of those botanical extracts that are pure. I’ve tried nearly all them (embarrassing to acknowledge!) … but adore the Lavender and Neroli most.

            Vitamin C does everything. As a powerful antioxidant it helps to reduce blemishes increases the production of collagen, and helps lighten dark spots.

            Now I’ve tried A LOT of vitamin C serums and my favorite is Mad Hippie’s vitamin C Serum. Rather than l-ascorbic acid (which could be quite irritating and oxidizes easily), it comprises sodium ascorbyl phosphate, which is quite gentle, much more stable, and research have found to be more beneficial for combating acne and eczema. It also contains a lot of other skin-loving goodies such as hydrating hyaluronic acid, antioxidant ferulic acid, and konjac root (which helps fade hyperpigmentation). So much to love!


            It is all about the face oils, infant. Whenever anyone compliments my skin (it blows my mind when that happens!) , I immediately blurt out « FACE OIL! » And start gushing all about it the way a kid gushes about a day at the beach/their favorite exciting — you know and with an extreme enthusiasm.

            I have tried heaps of different confront oils through the years — I’m fascinated with the different fatty acid compositions and the impact this has on different skin types. And Itaken of obsessing research this years and bottled up my blends for you too — Body Unburdened Beauty Blends!

            At night after cleansing, exfoliating, and toning, I really liberally employ Beauty Blend No.1. While I used to employ oils both day and night, I now often use a pure CC cream during the day (see below) for some SPF policy and sheer color.

            FACE MASKS

            Oh good, do I love a good face mask. Twice a week I use a mask about — an mask just like mentioned above once a week and either a clay-based or hydrating mask depending on my skin’s needs.

            If my skin is dry/irritated, I slather on some raw honey that is organic is a natural humectant that draws and holds water to the skin.

            Typically however, I mix the honey together with some water for the added benefit of pore-perfecting clays, hydrating fruit and aloe, and marshmallow and herbal extracts! (Yes, I still had a lot of fun inventing and analyzing these!)

            When I see something beginning to rear its ugly head, I stand strong and bravely scream »GO AWAY, MONSTER! » Just kidding; that’s what I tell my niece to do if we encounter »creatures » while enjoying. I dab a tiny lavender essential oil on the blemish as a spot treatment before employing my face oil. Many EOs need to be diluted but chamomile could be applied to the skin neat.

            Natural Beauty

            DAILY SPF + COLOR

            Juice Beauty’s formula is a little thicker, so that I use it when I need some protection. They’re both excellent, have a 1 Skin Deep evaluation, and SPF coverage.

            On days once I want a little extra coverage or to stop shine, I employ 100% Pure’s Fruit Pigmented Powder Foundation on top.

            I also use 100% Pure’s Long Concealer using Super Fruits under my eyes. I have pretty bad circles when I smile AND eyes which scrunch way way up. So a great deal of concealers look cakey and accentuate my expression lines around my eyes — not a look that is good. This is the sole concealer I’ve found so far that doesn’t!


            Pure’s Black Tea Mascara. Hands down. The best. Enough said.

            I’m obsessed with creamy eye shadows that provide a small bit of color and shine without making me look like a 13 year-old from 1998 (in other words, really glittery) — that they somehow create my entire face look brighter and most glowy. Small miracle workers!

            My favorites: RMS Beauty Eye Polish (in pretty much every colour!) And 100% Pure’s Satin Eye Shadow in Star, which I apply to the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up.


            Beautycounter’s Satin Powder Blush is my current favourite. I prefer a powder blush over lotion since it’s simpler to use if employing over a CC cream or face oils, and I am clearly about simplicity when it comes to beauty!

            LIP COLOR

            Ahh I love a colored lip! When I’m a mess, it makes me feel pulled together and lady-like.

            My morning beauty routine only takes approximately 2-3 minutes using the aforementioned products and THAT is a beautiful thing. I spend more time looking at the refrigerator deciding what to eat for breakfast.

            And like I mentioned, it is ironic that adopting an extremely simple, natural skincare routine managed to completely change my complexion — I used to think that I actually needed all of those harsh chemicals from the products I was using, and the more the merrier. Now I know better (heck, I even only wash my head once per day!) And my tears are spent on much more important things, such as the film Up (seriously, I had no idea it would be such a tear-jerker!!) .
