          Oh absolutely!

          Yes, once upon a time it was pretty tough to find without flaking under your eyes, a mascara that lasted more than an hour.

          However, as demand for safer products and the organic beauty market has grown, we know have a ton of natural, safe, high-performing options to select from.

          You do not have to sacrifice beauty!

          And lots of organic, non-toxic skincare ingredients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, CoQ10, charcoal, and niacinamide are so powerful that they have even reverted into mainstream beauty lines. And skincare practices like exfoliation help prevent blemishes and boost collagen production — whether you are utilizing a natural exfoliant or nasty-filled exfoliant! So choose the version, I say !

          My Super-Simple All-Natural Skincare And Beauty RoutineNatural Skincare

          CLEANSER

          I wash my head only once a day, each evening. Yes, just once a day! Your face may quickly throw microbiome and the pH of your own skin, both of which are key for keeping skin clean and healthy off.

          I choice between Beautycounter’s Charcoal Cleansing pub , which is very good for purifying pores, and InstaNatural’s Glycolic Acid Facial Cleanser in order not to over-exfoliate my skin. That being said acid is a superb exfoliant which helps both to keep blemishes and signs of aging off. Win win!

          EXFOLIATION

          Exfoliation is an absolute MUST. So if you’re not doing it you have to start ASAP, my friend. Because it can help to keep pores clear and stimulates collagen production. Plus, it helps makeup go on a lot more smoothly and improves skin texture.

          Nevertheless, in regards to exfoliation, it’s so important not to overdo it! Those with oily skin should exfoliate 1-2 times each week every week, while those with skin should exfoliate no longer than once. And because I really do use an exfoliating face wash I exfoliate just once a week.

          I prefer and recommend chemical exfoliants (enzymes and acids ) over granular exfoliants (scrubs).

          I have recently become obsessed with Mountain Rose Herb’s hydrosols! They smell amazing and supply the benefits of these pure botanical extracts to skin. I’ve tried nearly all of them (embarrassing to acknowledge!) … but adore the Lavender and Neroli most.

          Vitamin C does it all. As a powerful antioxidant it increases the production of collagen is helpful to reduce blemishes by preventing sebum oxidation, and helps lighten dark spots.

          I’ve tried A LOT of vitamin C serums that were different and also my favorite is Mad Hippie’s vitamin C Serum. Instead of l-ascorbic acid (which could be quite irritating and oxidizes easily), it contains sodium ascorbyl phosphate, which is quite gentle, much more stable, and research have found to be more beneficial for fighting breakouts and acne. Additionally, it includes a lot of other skin-loving goodies like hydrating hyaluronic acid, antioxidant ferulic acid, and konjac root (which can help fade hyperpigmentation). So much to appreciate!

          MOISTURIZER

          It is all about the oils, infant. Whenever anybody compliments my skin (it still blows my head when that happens!) , I immediately blurt out « FACE OIL! » And get started gushing about it how a kid gushes on a day at the beach/their favorite movie/mermaids/anything remotely exciting — you know, very fast and with an excitement that is intense.

          I’ve tried dozens of confront oils through the years — the different fatty acid compositions fascinated me. Their unique vitamin and nutrient contents, scents, and textures. And Itaken this years of obsessing research and bottled up my combinations for you Body Unburdened Beauty Blends!

          At night after cleansing, exfoliating, and toning, I really generously apply Beauty Blend No.1. While I used to apply oils both day and night, I often use a natural CC cream during the day (see below) for some SPF coverage and absolute color.

          FACE MASKS

          Oh goodness, do I really like a good face mask. Two times a week, I apply a mask roughly — a exfoliating mask like mentioned above once each week and either a clay-based or hydrating mask based on my skin’s needs.

          If my skin is dry/irritated, I’ll only slather on some organic honey — honey is a natural humectant that draws and holds water.

          Most commonly though, I combine one of my Body Unburdened Customizable Mud Masks and the honey together for the extra benefit of pore-perfecting clays, hydrating potent fruit and aloe, and marshmallow and herbal extracts! (Yes, I had a lot of fun inventing and analyzing these!)

          SPOT TREATMENT

          While I see something starting to rear its ugly head, I stand strong and scream »GO AWAY, MONSTER! » Just kidding; that’s what I tell my niece to do if we strike »creatures » while enjoying. I dab a little lavender essential oil on the blemish as a spot treatment before employing my face oil. Chamomile can be put on the skin neat although most EOs will need to be diluted.

          I’m obsessed with Juice Beauty’s Stem Cellular CC Cream and Beautycounter’s Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer. Juice Beauty’s formula is a little thicker, so that I use it on days when I need some protection. They are both fantastic, have a 1 Skin deep rating, and SPF coverage.

          On days when I want a little extra coverage or to prevent shine, I employ 100% Pure’s Fruit Pigmented Powder Foundation.

          I utilize 100% Pure’s Extended Last Concealer under my eyes with Super Fruits. Thanks to genetics, I have pretty bad circles when I grin AND eyes which scrunch up way. So a great deal accentuate my own saying lines around my eyes not a fantastic look and of concealers look. This is the sole concealer I have found so far that doesn’t!

          MASCARA

          Pure’s Black Tea Mascara. Hands down. The ideal. Enough said.

          I’m obsessed with creamy eye shadows that provide a little bit of colour and glow without making me look like a 13 year-old from 1998 (in other words, really glittery) — they somehow create my whole face seem brighter and most glowy. Little miracle workers!

          My favorites: RMS Beauty Eye Polish (in pretty much every color!) And 100% Pure’s Satin Eye Shadow at Star, which I use to the corners of my eyes to brighten up them.

          BLUSH

          Beautycounter’s Satin Powder Blush is my current favorite. I favor because it is simpler to use if applying over a CC lotion or face oils, a powder blush over lotion, and I’m clearly all about ease when it comes to beauty!

          LIP COLOR

          Ahh I really like a lip! When I’m a mess, it makes me feel pulled and lady-like.

          For a night out or more appearance, Jane Iredale’s Forever Pink Lip Stain is where it as its name suggests it.

          I’m also a big fan of Beautycounter’s Sheer Lipstick — that I have (and love) both the Rose and Poppy colors.

          My morning beauty routine just takes approximately 2-3 minutes using the aforementioned goods and THAT is a beautiful thing. I spend more time looking in the fridge.

          And like I said, it is ironic that embracing a very easy, natural skincare regimen managed to completely change my complexion — I used to think that I really needed all those harsh chemicals from the products I was using, and the more the merrier. Now I know better (heck, I even only wash my head once a day!) And my tears have been spent much more important things, like the movie Up (seriously, I had no idea it would be this a tear-jerker!!) .
